Our Holiday

First off, a few days ago Marcelus went potty in the toilet - and I saw it this time! It took a few minutes of sitting there but then it came, I was kind of shocked that he actually did it. Afterwards naturally I made a big deal of it and gave him high 5's and knuckles. it was a happy moment. Marce is not afraid of the toilet at all. He was a little timid at first but now he's not. He doesn't even need his insert, he just gets up there and holds on!

Sharrid had to work for the 4th and wasn't going to get it off. I was invited by my friend April to go hang out with her family and their relatives. We ate pizza and then went swimming in the community pool. Marcelus wears a life jacket and floatees. He is such a fish. He LOVES to swim I have found this summer and he isn't afraid. He's not afraid of anything though...anyway, he doesn't need the floatees but they help him swim better and be balanced with the jacket. He knows to spit water out of his mouth instead of swallowing it if it gets in his mouth. He knows how to flip over to his belly if the life jacket throws him on his back, he knows how to swim to something by kicking his legs. I am so proud of him. He even surprised me yesterday by jumping in off the edge all by himself. He went all the way under and popped back up a little surprised himself! ha ha Well, we had a blast and Phoenix loved the water so much that he just slept the whole time wading in the water! After swimming we went back to April's and just talked and ate more. We didn't get home til 11pm! Sorry there are no pictures but being outnumbered by the boys means no free hands for a camera.
