Getting Older

Hi my name is Sharrid!!! I have never posted before. This will be my first time posting. This October I will be turning the big 30. Wow, I thought that at 30 I would feel so much wiser. I must say that from my 20th birthday until now I have had the time of my life. I still have not finished school in the sense of studies but in these past ten years I have seen mountains literally move! I joined the church at 19, a year later I went on a mission to Brazil. Three and a half years later I met Lexie and we married soon thereafter. The Lord has blessed me with a loving wife and two beautiful children.

Right now to think that I will be turning 30 in October is a little scary. What will the next ten years of my life bring me? I foresee more children, more joy, more pain, more blessings, and more life.

Nice to see you blogging, Sharrid! I also have been thinking about turning 30 even though I still have one more year! I hope it will be fun to be 30- I admit, I worry about getting older.

Sharrid, we are so glad that you are in our family. When I turned 30, I had just had Michaela. So I had 4 girls already. Things COULD be worse for you, you know!!

Hey Sharrid,
This is Kristie- Connie's sister-in-law. I know what you mean. I will be turning 30 in November. I have been stressing about it. There is some kind of comfort to me knowing that i am still in my 20's. To me, it just seems so old to be in your 30's. Oh well. I am sure someday I will look back and wish I was still in my 30's! But for now, I am still 29 and I will enjoy being in my 20's as long as I can!

Sharrid, I just turned 30 in Feb. and the anticipation of it was worse than actually turning 30. I think it's a lot funner to be older - I feel wiser about life in general. So don't get down about it! :)
