The last couple weeks Sharrid has been working so hard, and he's not about to slow down...
He's working 40 hours a week at the Prison, and 25 hours a week at Walmart in Chandler. He catches a van pool to the Prison which is nice cause then he doesn't have to drive to or from and also saves on gas. It also means he has to meet at the van a little earlier then he would normally leave himself. Sometimes he's tired and can sleep on the van. He's applied to AutoZone here in Maricopa to replace Walmart so he doesn't have to drive into Chandler just to work part time. That would save a lot of time out of his day, but either way. Walmart is nice, because we get a discount on our grocery's, and anything else there for that matter...
This is how his schedule looks every week...
Sunday: church 8:30-11:30, leave house for vanpool at 12:15, arrive home at 11:30 pm, in bed by midnight.
Monday: Get up at 5:45, work Walmart 7-11 am, home by 11:45 am, leave house for vanpool at 12:15, arrive home at 11:45, in bed by midnight.
Tuesday: Run errands, dr. appts., grocery shop, family time...
Wednesday: Walmart 9 am-6 pm, home at 6:45
Thursday: Same as Monday
Friday: Same asd Monday
Saturday: Same as Monday
Pretty crazy, but I just wanted to post a big thank you to Sharrid for working so hard. It will enable us to do some things that we need to this year, most of which are actually fun things. Buy a car, prepare for a new baby, and paint our house are some examples. I'm pretty excited about these things, especially painting! It will be hard work, and maybe a little annoying or frustrating but I think it will add so much to our little home. Our house feels so bare to me, and paint will make it feel so much more like a home, not to mention motivate us to continue with the small changes we want to make to our house, and of course decorate. We will be going to Lowe's soon to look at paint colors. I have a really good idea of what I want already!
Funny things Marce is doing lately:
Singing along to songs on movies, or trying to...it's really cute. My nephew Jonah has been singing forever and Marcelus is finally starting to sing...
Marcelus will shush me when he doesn't want me to sing or talk anymore...I honestly don't know where he learned this but it's pretty funny, he'll do a quick shh. Little stinker...
I've been so excited for 101 Dalmations to come out this week because Marcelus loves dogs so much and I can't think of a better movie to get him. Today for the first time he saw the commercial and was glued saying "dog" over and over again...yep, there's a lot of dogs in this one. He'll love it and it will prob. end the Cinderella streak or at least share the glory.
Marcelus has started to get down on all fours and bark and pretend he's a dog. He does it now all the time. It's real cute. He's turning into such a little boy and is learning so much lately. Did your kids make a big learning/communication jump at 2, cause he sure is!

I knew I saw Sharrid at Wal-Mart!
yep, the one at AZ ave. We shop there every Tues. but actually have been going to the Gilbert rd. one, because it's so much nicer and more organized, but the Az ave. isn't bad...
HELLO! The "sshh" is definitely from Sharrid. Have you forgotten how he does that to you whenever you are "badgering" him. You are funny Lexie.
This was really interesting to read. I'm always curious how other people's lives run on the day to day schedule.
I hope life slows down for Sharrid some time soon!
