It was a good car, our 2003 Ford Focus, but we knew we were on a deadline with Phoenix coming. Here's the deal. Sharrid is so tall that with the Focus, (and lots of other cars) No one can fit behind him cause his seat is all the way back. Phoenix' car seat would not fit in back of him, nor would Marcelus'. So, although we would have loved to keep our car (good gas mil., low payment, ect.) we had to trade it. It did have 124,000 miles on it, but we had never had any problems with it, just maintenance like oil changes, alternator, battery, and new tires. So, it was a good car for us and we will always be grateful for that. It was our first car as a married couple also.
But, yesterday we decided to look at a few cars. We knew we had until mid April as we did not want to register our car right before we traded it. I told Shar I could not go car shopping this next Monday, too many errands, so we looked yesterday and it was really hard because our car had suck low payments, we owed more on it than it was worth, so it was actually hurting us, but we had to trade it. We have no use for 2 cars. (I can't drive) We were totally open because of this to every option. As long as Shar fit comfortably and it accomidated our family (the car seats).
We ended up at a Honda place in Mesa. Shar sat in a few cars, and we eventually came away with what we had hoped to get from the very beginning. We got a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. We have been looking at this car in particular because of how much room was behind Shar's seat. Either of the boys can fit behind him and even another grown man, YAY! So it has 3rd row which we don't even have to use yet and we can just have the seats down for plenty of room on road trips or for grocery's and stuff. I like it a lot and when I turn around to look at Marce he seems so far away now, it's really roomy. I think it will be a great family car, and since I've been thinking of having 4 kids, it would house all of them so I know we could keep this car for a good amount of time which is great, no more "deadlines" unless we want to. The worst part about this is that my sister Connie has the same car, same color, White. It doesn't bother me at all, but Con, just so you know, we're not trying to "keep up" with you guys. ha ha Ours has a few bars on the top, like a roof rack I guess, and it has chrome rims, they are pretty shiny, I like that. It's a great looking car and the sound system inside is great and I like the power seats too...(our Focus was pretty standard)...anyway so we got a new car and I can focus on other things now...
Yesterday I also got my hair cut, it's super short, but it will grow fast because of the Prenatals. The one thing about it though that is crazy to me is that ok let me set you up here: I cut my hair short and dyed it real blonde right...then let it grow out so my roots could show, I kept letting it grow and it turned into the mop (see previous posts) ok, now yesterday I get it cut and so all the blonde is gone...you with me, But here's the crazy part...my hair is red! My natural hair! I noticed last time I cut my hair to reveal the natural that I had a lot of red in my hair, I wasn't sure how I felt about that. I've always been dirty blonde, and most recently light brown, but now, RED! Well, it's auburn anyway with a few blonder peices, but I really don't know if I like it. I was expecting the light brown, but it's way more red this time, is it because of the pregnancy? My sister of course has red hair and she got it from my mom, who used to be more red but then turned blonde. No one else in my family has ever had red hair though besides them! I'm a little self conscious about it....I could always dye it, but I didn't plan to for a while. It's so great on my sister but I guess I'm not used to it for me, it was just a shock, but I'll get over it and it's probably not as red as I see it is, I will post a picture in a while though, I haven't taken any.
I'll post a picture of our new car too when I get a chance...

Good for you guys on the car! Better to get it out of the way now, I'm sure. About the hair, wow... who would have thought! I'm sure it's not as red as you think it is. Can't wait for the pics.
