Vacation Ideas

If you see my poll to the right be sure to vote but I wanted to ask everyone out there, if they have an even better idea for a fun place to go in the San Diego/LA/Southern Cali area. It has to be something pretty kid friendly of course...feel free to comment below with ideas.

Sorry for the barage of comments. I just recently changed your blog address in my google reader and so I'm catching up on all your postings.
Disneyland is fun, but can be tiring if you're super pregnant.
I haven't done Seaworld in years, but friends have gone with their 2-3 year olds and have a good time. I think there's a fun water area there for them to play on too when you're too tired to walk around anymore

To Dana: actually I have some suspenders, 80's rock! But I KNOW they'd be pointless, fat is different then pregnant, anyway I will not be pregnant when we go on our summer vacation but rather all recooped and good as new, in most departments. I only have 5 weeks left!

Hey, I keep seeing on TV how the Disneyland resorts have specials going on, or coming up. You might want to look into that option. I know that is how we were able to go for our honeymoon. We got a really great deal.

I still think that Disneyland with a newborn would be a really bad idea. I'd definitely go for Sea World. Jonah loved it and he was only 10 months- It's way less crowded and slower paced. Great for toddlers.

yeah I looked at the website, I was reluctant before because it seemed it would be too boring, and the zoo, but SeaWorld seems cool, especially cause you can wear your swimsuits and get wet, that's cool. We'll probably take the boys to Disneyland later in the year or next year before I get pregnant again...

I would do Sea World. We took Chloe and Matthew last summer and we all loved it! Disneyland is probably better when their a little older.

Well here are my two cents. I think Disneyland is very expensive and it Marcelus doesn't know where he is I would think you would be wasting your money. The Zoo is pretty cheap and a very relaxed pace. Depending on when you go to Sea World it could be very over crowded but still fun. We took the kids last year and Megan had a very fun time.

You might want to look into Legoland... it's in Carlsbad and very kid friendly... haven't been there myself, but I've heard RAVE reviews of the place from other people. I personally have taken a young baby to Disney and loved it... you get fast passes or the child switch pass and everyone gets to go on the rides without waiting in long lines. I'm not sure I would go in the summer heat though, especially since the summer months get the most crowded....

I've been told legoland is for a little bit older kids and Marce doesn't even know what a Lego is, I don't think Disneyland is overpriced but I want Marce to be able to go on all the rides or as many as possible wherever we go. I think SeaWorld is the best bet...I think the Zoo would be too boring for even me...I'd rather pay the more money and go to SeaWorld. I think I've decided on that.
