Yes, this will be a venting post about third trimester pregnancy. First of all though I still have after a week a soar throat and cough through the nights. I'm going to tell my doctor on Tues. (Ultrasound) because it said in my book tell the doctor if you are coughing up flem and if it doesn't go away in 3 days, so...BUT Shar got me some Tylenol Soar Throat & Cough, exactly what I need! So, I'm going to take that at night cause my throat hurts and I can get some better sleep! Ok now on to just regular pregnancy. On Tues. I will find out if I have Gestational Diabetes finally! I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I am hooked on sweets right now, I buy donuts and ice cream, and cakes, and candybars, and all that stuff, I LOVE it right now. I also crave fast food but only eat that once a week...both pregnancies I've been through I have craved sweets and fast food. I can taste sugar in things more than if I weren't pregnant, like in drinks or just whatever, everything tastes sweeter to me, it's kind of fun actually. Also on Tues. I will find out if I have a shorter cervix which could mean a lot of different things, #1 - If it's a certain number they will give me (I've been told it was a shot in the butt) something to make Phoenix lungs mature faster, #2 - a higher chance of going early, #3 - which could mean I have a chance of being on bedrest. So a lot of answers on Tues. I'm just about 32 weeks so I really just want to make it 5 more weeks then I'll feel much better about it all.
As far as the aches and pains go, it's starting to get to that point where being pregnant isn't so great anymore, you know, where you'd rather trade your body for the baby right now, where you'd rather give up the attention, give up the cute belly...because quite frankly, you feel pressure, a bit of pain, heaviness, tired, back ache, hip ache, side ache, FEET ACHE, tailbone starting to feel it....yeah I'm there now, and...I remember last time about the last week, it was actually hard to just walk, it was awkward and somewhat painful, and I know this isn't going to get any better so I have to tough this out for another 4 weeks at the very least and possibly 8 weeks at the most. Man, I'm tired...
