Product Recommendations

A while back people were posting the little things in life they couldn't live without, like a chapstick, or a stain remover...I couldn't think of anything real special so I never posted any. I do however have 2 things to post now. They are products of course but bigger, and one time buying products that I LOVE! First, for Christmas 2 years ago Sharrid was given a George Foreman Grill/Griddle from our family name exchange. He had seen it in Wal-Mart and said that he wanted it. It has been set up in our kitchen from day one and we use it nearly if not every single day. I make Sharrid a breakfast every night so he can just take it and go in the morning to work, and I have a somewhat hard time eating sausage or bacon that is not from the grill. I am not used to it anymore as the grill cuts out at least 50% of the fat and grease. It tastes much more healthy and it IS much more healthy. We make anything from sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes, you name it on the grill. We love it and I highly recommend it. Ours looks like this and it was just 40$! Super easy clean up too!

Next, I just purchased this online a bit ago after seeing an infomercial on a Sat. with Sharrid a while ago. It is called the Magic Bullet. It is awesome! The best way to descibe it is a blender, juicer, chopper, mixer, any size all rolled into one...you can make anything from one serving, to feeding a whole family. The cups you make the food in are dishwasher safe, and microwave safe, they also have lids that screw right on them to store leftovers in the fridge or to use them as shaker cups with the shaker tops. It comes with a cookbook and today I made a chocolate mousse with just heavy cream and choc. syrup. It was awesome. Then I rinsed out my cup and made a mixed berry fruit sorbet, using just fruit and water, and then I decided to make a cheesecake. I just stuck all the ingredients in the cup, mixed it up and poured it in a crust, super easy, takes seconds, you can make a million different things, and clean up is nothing!

My fruit smoothies will be awesome because now I only have to make enough for me, and I can make a seperate one for Marce with totally different ingredients, and I can drink it right out of the cup it was blended in! I'm way excited about dicing onion and garlic without tears, making salsa, baby food, alfredo sauce, muffin mix, chicken salad, the possibilities are limitless. You can totally experiment too! Cooking just got funner, faster, and easier with this thing. No more cleaning out my blender, and no more mixing beaters! A lot less cutting boards and knives...my cooking style is going to change real quick...the best parts about this thing is that everything is made in SECONDS, the clean up is NOTHING, pretty much no dirty dishes, what else, this thing is amazing! I highly recommend this to anyone that EVER cooks, or likes to make fruit smoothies, shakes, or whoever wants a great blender or juicer. This thing is basically for EVERYONE! To check it out, come visit me ha ha or go to www.buythebullet.com

If you watch any TV on Saturdays, see if you can catch the infomercial, they show you a lot of stuff they make from the book in seconds. In minutes the whole bar is full of food!

Not all the peices that you get are in this picture. The juicer/blender top is missing and actually in fact you get 2 whole 21 peice sets for 100$. So double for back up peices if you use it tons or want to give one set as a gift, pretty sweet...

I just had to say that I have always avoided getting the magic Bullet for the silliest reason...their infomercial was so retarded. I was impressed with the bullet, but the actors they picked and their "personalities" were just too funny. I guess I had a hard time taking it seriously when the acting was so bad. Having said that, everyone seems to love them and you may have convinced me.

yes, the actors are stupid. as always in infomercials, why can't people just be a little more real? But I don't mind the guy and chick who actually are using the Bullet. Where did all those other people come from, it's like an adult big brother house or something?

yeah i have seen it too and have the same problem as Karena. I know the product looks cool, but I can't get past the lame infomercial. Sounds like a cool product though!

I too am a fan of the George Forman. It's easy to use and like you said - it cooks food healthier.

the product is well worth sitting through the infomercial...trust me. I can't wait to show mom how it works when she comes for the baby! She'll love it.
