First I had a OB appt. @9. They told me that in my last Ultrasound, my cervix was a little short, (the shorter the closer you are to labor) and they scheduled another Ultrasound for in a week on 4/8. They said that if my cervix is the same, then they won't worry about me, but they said if my cervix has become shorter, they need to give me something for Phoenix lungs to help them develop faster. My cervix level was 3.2, they said if it gets down to 2.5, then that is a huge possibility towards pre term labor. My blood tests weren't in yet to determine whether I have Gestational Diabetes, so we still don't know about that either. I asked why in both Ultrasounds they said I was 10 days ahead. The dr. said the Ulrasounds the further along you get are less accurate at determining your due date, that's why they are sticking with my June 2nd date, off of the first Ultrasound. She said the baby is probably just bigger. I wanted to tell her not to let him get too big, but I will later. They are just keeping an eye on me for possible pre term labor. I don't want to have Phoenix until about 2 weeks before he's due. I want him to be good and healthy. Needless to say when I asked her if I could paint my house, she said that I could but that she wanted me to get a lot of help and basically delegate and not do anything...that might work as I've been offered plenty of help, but we'll see. She doesn't want me to over exert myself.
That's the scoop on the pregnancy so far.
After my appt. we drove into Chandler and got some food and headed to my favorite park so Marce could play. It's the one on Dobson and Germann for you locals. They now have a shade tent thing over the entire play area, even better now! Anyway Marce got some energy out and we were hoping he would not fall asleep before his 1 pm appt. for pictures at Target Studio. We got there, got him dressed and he turned out some really good looking pictures, I am so excited to post them! I get them back in 2 weeks and I can't wait! It was so hard to choose which poses to buy. It's a miracle they got good shots because Marce didn't want to stand or sit where they told him very much, he didn't really get it. AND to my great horror, there was a vacuum sitting in the room! We used it against him though and kept saying if he stayed and took some pictures he could play with it afterwards. He never did of course but somehow forgot about it in the process. I also had dum dums to bribe him, his favorite treat! With a coupon card I had we got 7 poses in 5x7 pages, plus a free 8x10 of one of the poses for the wall. This means that mom, after I post them you can comment to me which one you want framed for the table, it's time to update, the pic you have is now a year old...and I will also get you 4x6's of the rest for scrapbooking, fridge, whatever...There is one picture that he is doing the same exact face/smile as a picture he took there when he was about 8 months. It's the first picture I could see myself in and is my favorite. You can bet we got the new version he took yesterday and it's one of my favorites again! I can't wait til Phoenix is born and I can take the boys in together. I think we'll do a real family picture this year for fall/Christmas too. I love Target Studio!
After the pictures I got a few things at Target before leaving, a baby blue crib sheet for Phoenix, and a really really soft chocolate brown blanket for Phoenix. It is so cute and comfy. In my opinion Target has the best baby blankets. So, just some things to cross off the list.

After Target we went to the Mall to get Marce some flip flops for the summer. We got some nicer casual ones at Gap, and then some $2.50 ones at Children's Place for swimming this summer.

Then we were off to Wal-Mart for grocery's, always our last stop. Here I got Phoenix a bin for the toys that will go in his room, and his very own wipe box, it's red. Marcelus' is a sea green color. I also got him his very first pack of Newborn Diapers. Little by little right? The only things I really want to get him or need to get him before he's born is a swing and a crib mattress. I wouldn't mind getting him a baby book either.
We came home to our neighbors J.J. and Melissa telling us they'd turned off our water because our front yard was flooding. Sharrid was out in the morning before we had to go pulling up weeds with the shovel. Now I feel really bad because he's got to replace some pipe I think. Good thing we don't have much going on the next couple Mondays. He was irritated that the pipes weren't buried down further, and said they were too shallow. I think it's just our sprinkler/watering system so he's going to buy a hose for now so our plants and tree don't die. He's been wanting to get a hose anyway...

Well, I want you to take the advice of "Nacho" and... "Take it easy!". Your due date might be off, but you don't want to chance pre-term labor. Try to rest...nap!
And don't worry, I'm sending the diaper bag soon. I've been trying to find a box big enough, but I'll probably just have to go to the post office and buy one. I've been a little tired and stressed recently(wink, wink), and it's been hard to run extra errands. And since I won't be able to reach a baby shower...if you have one...I'm sending a gift along with it.
I've also changed me blog address. I sent an e-mail, but I wanted to be sure you knew!
Again, take it easy!
That blanket does look soft and fuzzy! I love blankets for babies. I always want to get one even if I already have plenty from previous kids.
Did you get my last post?
