Touring the Fire Department

Today Marce and I went with a home schooling bunch to tour the fire department. Marcelus didn't quite understand everything, he's probably a little young, but he did like it.

They gave each of the kids a little packet with crayons and a pencil and color book, a magnet, stuff like that.

They showed the kids the truck and some of the things on it.

They let the kids spray the fire hose but when I tried to get Marce to look at me for the picture, he decided he was done, bummer. I should have just taken it...

My friend took Marce to the Library with her kids while I was at an OB appt. She bought him this second hand animal counting book for a dime. I think he liked that. Look at those skinny brown legs! So cute!
