For you veteran mom's out there, does this mean anything: Marce will go in his room and shut the door when he needs to go poop in his diaper. It's like he doesn't want me to know or something. He also will take his diaper off almost every time he has no pants on...
He just turned 2 in February so I doubt he's ready to potty train, but are these signs off wanting to?
This morning he was in the shower with me and then I get out and dry off and then get him, while I dry off he just plays in there, but today he made better of his time and took a poop right in the shower. I kept asking him as I put deoderant on and tone my face, ect. if he was ready to get out and he kept saying no. I just figured he wanted to play a little longer, then I saw him on all fours and he was quiet, so I checked and sure enough, behind him was a nice little pile for me...Ha Ha

He might be ready - every kid is different and I've found it's best to wait for their cue... pushing before they are ready doesn't work! Give it a shot, but don't push since you are having a baby soon... recently potty trained kids usually regress when a new baby arrives!
I don't know. Matthew had a lot of these type incidents way before he was ever ready to potty train. The signs that he was ready, for me anyway, were that he would tell me when he went and want to be changed. And that he wanted to sit on the potty and try to use the bathroom.
trust me I'm not going to try any time soon! I'm way too pregnant and I'm not trying while I have a newborn either. I think I'll wait for more or better signs. I do know he's kind of scared to sit on our toilet, but it's huge for him!
