There are some things that I have never had with Marcelus, some I know I want for sure with Phoenix (like a swing), some I'm not sure, so the question goes out:
Is a baby carrier worth getting?
If you have one or have had one in the past, please comment your overall opinion of them below and if you are pro baby carrier, please tell me the brand you have or prefer. I just need as many reviews as possible so I can make a decision. We would mainly use it on Mondays when we go out because we don't have a double stroller now and I don't know when we'd be able to get one. If you have one, please tell me in what situations you use it. That would help too. Thanks everybody.

I got a baby carrier as a gift with my first and really only used it a handful of times with each kid. My first was a cheapy... brand was evenflo I think... on my last one I got a new one made by Eddie Bauer... I remember it being black with blue lettering. I really liked that one and would have used it more, but being summer in AZ, extra body heat just made me more miserable. When I had Megan and Taylor (young and close together) I couldn't live without my double stroller... I used it for everything... trips to the mall, walking the neighborhood, etc. I had a long narrow one... not a side by side... I think the side by sides are too wide!
lex, i have a snuggli from target and i love it - it's easy, didn't cost a fortune, and fairly comfy. i think it's better for older babies. i also have a "hotsling". i absolutely loved this while baylee was tiny. (better for newborns but you can put big babies in it as well) i put her in it everywhere we went and it's great becuase people didn't touch her, they just wanted to peek in to see her. it's really comfortable and gives you two hands! check them out at hotslings.com they are pricey, but i think it will last me awhile. (my mom-in-law bought it for me) :) good luck!
We actually got two different ones for Rylee, both from target. The first one was the Infantino SlingRider. I finally got that one when she was about 2 months old because she wanted to be held all the time and it got difficult, it also helped her sleep too. The second one was similar to the EuroRider by Infantino. That one we used when she was actually able to hold her head up on her own. In all honestly, I think that they can be good. I know that the carrier, Neil had to wear when we had her in it because my back could not take the weight. The sling on the other hand I really loved, because I could put her in it and sit anywhere and still have both hands free and not have to worry about her falling off my lap. I hope that this helps Ü
I loved having a baby carrier for the girls. Especially once child #2 came along. If Tori needed held and Jordan needed me to help with something I could do both. I used the baby carrier for trips to the grocery store, walks and even doing household chores. I would recommend getting one if at all possible. I would get the kind that the baby can ride both ways...facing you when they are infants and facing out when they get a little bigger.
Hey Lexie! I got a Snugli before Harry was born and I LOVED it! He's a little big for it now, but he still occasionally gets a trip in it. Our carseat is one that stays in the car, so I used the Snugli everywhere-anyplace I needed to carry him. I used it even when he was a month old or so. I also have a Hotsling and I also love it, but I used the Snugli more. Maybe it's just preference. I think the Snugli was comfortable, and it was very affordable.
We have used ours a little (cheap Snugli from Target) but I think we could live without it too. Like Christy said, a double stroller is way better than a snugli because of the body heat and eventually the weight. It seriously kills my back to carry the babies in one of those things for more than a half hour! Something to think about since you are also small framed...If you do get one, the cheap brands are fine, but make sure that you can use it for facing out and in.
