After our errands we were able to go over to my good friend Janny's house and hang out. I really miss her, and my old ward in Chandler but life goes on and you do what you gotta do. It was good to see her and let the kids play.

I gave Phoenix a haircut a few days ago because we were sick of his curls in the back getting all tangled. We bathe him of course but it seemed everyday he'd get milk back there or something and it would tangle his hair like bubble gum so I shaved it to a #1 on the sides and back and a #2 on top. The haircut makes him look like a big meat head! He's such a big bruiser!

I have been working out for just over a week now and I LOVE it! It is so therapeutic to me. I love the Oxygenfit system I'm doing. It is so versatile, I can work every single part of my body. It is so fun to workout. It's my favorite thing to do right now. I look forward to it so much. My muscles are starting to wake up and I'm graduating from pink resistance to blue right now in most exercises. I do the workouts on DVD's, but I also do my own exercises with it and also jump rope, stretch, and do different kinds of crunches. I have seen a big difference in myself mentally. It is great for my stress level. I also feel like I get more done during the day. I have automatically started eating a little better. For instance, instead of snacking on crackers, I will eat a yogurt or an apple. I don't eat bad anyway but it's been just a bit better. On Monday we always eat fast food for lunch because were out, so yesterday I didn't want it and I ate at Rubio's, which might not be the best but it's a heck of a lot better for you than fast food. I can tell the difference between my bean, cheese and rice burrito and a McDonald's quarter pounder...
Working out has really helped me feel great even when I'm not where I want to be yet. Just doing it and knowing you are in the process of getting there. Here's something really cool. I hate the dishes. I have no respect for them. I would rather do any chore in place of them. I could care less about doing them and only do them when I have to, for example when you run out of spoons or something... Since I've been working out I have done my dishes. Not a big deal. My kitchen is not perfect. It is not like my mom's kitchen yet (we call her the dishes Nazi) but hey, I've gotten better in one little small area of what unfortunately is part of my life:the dishes...
Have I mentioned that I LOVE working out! Yeah for Oxygenfit (thanks mom! I love it) I have been watching the Biggest Loser. It is so motivating. Not that I'm huge and obese, but the trainers are what motivate me. I want to be like Jillian, she's rad!
Here is Marcelus doing it. He is one of the most observant people I know (wonder where he gets that from...ha ha) He's so smart at figuring things out, especially electronics and things with parts. I can just tell he's going to be a car guy. He likes to work out right along side of me. He does the lunges and everything! I used to do the same thing with my mom and my aunt Lisa ha ha

One night I found Marce curled up in this corner asleep for the night. He runs to this corner when he gets in trouble sometimes, usually if he's doing something to Phoenix or something he's not supposed to like if he hides here we won't think it was him, hmmm....yeah. Also, he often dumps his toys back here in this corner, like it's his personal little haven. So, here is Marcelus in his corner...
Marce loves his Legos. Being the "car guy" he is, it is right up his alley to put things together and take them apart. I know when he's older he's going to want the little ones...great. That's the kind of kid he is though. Here's Marce showing me a car he built. He builds a lot of houses too. That little green trailer is not a Lego but it fits on the tow...that works. Funny kid.
I bought Marcelus some underwear and pull ups yesterday and day one of potty training is tomorrow. He's going to be thrilled to see his new Buzz underwear. He is on a huge Buzz Lightyear kick. He's been watching Toy Story like crazy since we left Grandma's house. He loves his Buzz Lightyear toy. I got a promo code for the Disney movie club for being a VIP, so I got him Toy Story 2 and another movie that's just Buzz Lightyear. He's going to love them! Anyway, I got a 7 pack Disney underwear that includes Buzz, Nemo, Cars, Wall -E, & Incredibles. I also got him a few pairs of boxer briefs. They are so cute! Tomorrow though, it's the good old fashioned trainer underwear. Wish us luck. I got him M&M's and Cracker Jack's for rewards. That plus a lot of high fives, knuckles and hugs should work.

Phoenix is so freakin cute! He has the best smile! You're a lucky lady Lexie!
Wow- long post! I love the pictures of Phoenix. He is one good-looking dude. Good luck with potty training this week!
I'm glad that you are feeling better since you have been working out. That is one of the perks of doing it... more energy. You would think that it is the opposite, but no..it really works. Marce is so funny! He is a true imitator. Good luck on the potty training. As a grandmother, it's even cool to brag about having your grandkids potty trained! Who knew?!
well don't hold your breath mom, marce might not be ready after all. I'm still trying to figure it out...we'll see.
