"A quarter of a century makes a girl think"

Today I turned 25. I just talked on the phone with my sister Michaela who said that I was really young after she asked how old I was (she'd forgot) That made me feel pretty good. I can't believe I'm getting to that age where that makes you feel good. I guess I'd just love to live in Neverland and never grow up. What a great concept that is. It was a good day. Shar took the day off, not because it was my birthday but because he needed to catch up on some school. I had made plans previously to go to my friend April's house. Apparently she had planned a little surprise get together with a few sisters in the ward. It was very relaxing. We just ate and talked. April and I later took our kids to the park, but it was pretty toasty so we didn't stay long. Tonight since Shar was home I made sure I made dinner so we could eat as a family. We don't get to do that very often, not dinner. We eat breakfast as a family every morning, but never dinner, hence the swing shift. Thank you to everyone for the gifts, phone calls, cards in the mail, texts, emails, ect. When you are 25, you don't expect anything.
Marce got to play with April's kid Wade today and Gina's boy, Porter. They had a blast and April gave Marce some Legos she was going to get rid of. Marce is in heaven with more Legos. He loves them and I've realized he's a real put it together take it apart guy. So I guess we'll be collecting Legos, those log cabins, and K'nex through the years. Here's a pic of Marce bushed while playing with his new Legos.
Funny side note: Marce has been building vacuums out of Legos! The kid is still obsessed with vacuums. Who knows when that will lift but amazingly enough when he builds a vacuum...it does look like a vacuum. What a boy he is!

That picture of Marce is "playing til you just can't play no more!" Cute kid.

Hope you had a good birthday. I keep forgetting about mine. Oh well, it's just another normal day around here.

That's funny about the lego vacuums. Are you still going to find Marce a vacuum for Christmas? I swear, he's gonna be like that vacuum-obsessed kid I saw on Jay Leno one time...
