I Found Them!

In 2003 I was living at home working at Wally's. I had already been up to Provo. I've never had a job I liked so working at Wally's pretty much sucked. This job was not a waste though for 3 reasons, you see, I stocked everything...AND made the lunch food. They bought chicken patties (for chicken burgers/sandwiches) by the box. While there I perfected "my" chicken sandwich. From then on, everytime I went to Vegas with mom or what not, I'd stop at Wally's and make my chicken sandwich. This is what it was...

1.Mix a packet of ketchup and mayo together and spread on top bun
2. Steal a squirt of Nacko Cheese and spread it directly onto the chicken pattie
3. (Optional) Add a few little round pickles to the top bun
4. Put it all together and microwave so it's hot again (10 seconds)

So reasons why this job was not a waste
1. My chicken sandwich discovery
2. I didn't have to talk to anyone and I could listen to my discman
3. I made enough money to buy my drum set

My chicken sandwich is SO GOOD! I have made everyone that I could try it. I was thrilled to see that they had these at Walmart & Fry's. It makes for a great lunch! I don't know about you, but I like my lunches to be hot, kind of like dinners. So something like this or leftovers is the best.

The only thing missing from my sandwich this time around is the Nacho Cheese, I'll have to get some of that because I'm sure I don't remember what I'm missing!

Tyson brand also has really good chicken nuggets that we buy for lunches also. They are even great from the microwave, seriously I've done both microwave and oven and there's no difference in how they turn out.

MMMM my chicken sandwich...

I started laughing as soon as I read the title and saw the picture! Only you would post about a chicken sandwich! Good for you. Now you don't have to come to Logandale to get your sandwich....which they don't sell anymore anyway. It pays to live right....

I'm glad you found something that brings back lots of yummy memories. Isn't it the ebst to find something from the past, especially when it deals with food. I'm sure Costco sells nacho cheese.

Lexie, that sounds like the grossest thing to eat! I hate any ketchup/tomato based products to be paired with chicken, though, so you lost me right in the beginning! Glad you enjoy it, though! Ever since working at Wendy's I can only make my burgers one way... the way Wendy's makes them. I like hot lunch too... a cold sandwich isn't the same!
