I am finally done with Breaking Dawn. It is such old news. I had to read the whole series again though and nothing was spoiled for me anyway so it's ok...
DISCLAIMER for anyone who has not read it yet who would not want anything ruined because I know there are some people who still have not read this series believe it or not. For you all, DO NOT READ BELOW.
Ok, I hated this book. But...3 out of 4 ain't bad for Stephanie Meyer, and if I like The Host, then it's 4 out of 5 but look here's a few of the things I especially hated from this book.
1. Renessmee, or however you spell this lame name. I hate the name choice.
2. I hate the fact that if it was a boy, it would have been Edward Jacob. Who names their son after their husband and ex boyfriend?
3. Hated the pregnancy. It was so dramatic...the wrong kind of drama, the soap opera kind of drama. It was so lame.
4. Hated the fact that Jacob imprinted on "Nessie"...away with Jacob. He should have died or ran away or something a long time ago...
5. Hate that Bella had hardly no issues being a Newborn vamp.
6. I pretty much hate "Nessie's" whole character, she bugged...
7. Hate Bella for still hanging around Jacob way too much, hello you're married, it's over...it should have been over when Edward came back for crying out loud...
8. Crappy storyline
9. Weak climax
10. Hate Bella's sex drive...
11. Hated the goodbyes when they thought they were going to die in the clearing, especially between Bella, Edward, Jacob, and Nessie...especially when Edward calls Jacob his son...
12. Don't care much but it's pretty cheap how Charlie just swoopes in on Sue after her husband died what...about a year ago? Oh yeah and his best friends wife no less...
13. Hate that Charlie only "needs to know" certain things...yeah right!
14. The book was full of the most cheesy dialogue ever!
15. I could go on and on so if I forgot anything I really hated, I'll be sure to comment...
I've heard that Stephanie Meyer is not done with these books after all. Is that true? Will there be a 5th? Heaven forbid it's anything like Breaking Dawn! It was all I could do to get through it. Reading became a chore again (like when I was in grade school)...

Finally someone gets me! I ditto everything you said (plus some more). I am sick of everyone making excuses for a crappy crappy story just out of loyalty to Stephenie and the series. As far as I'm concerned, Eclipse was the last book.
Another reason, I mean many reasons why I don't care to read this book. I finished with Eclipse and I'm fine with that. I heard this one was pretty smutty. Don't care to... Thank you for saving me the time. I have been reading much more interesting stuff lately anyway.
