Thanksgiving In St. George 2009

This year I went up to the big Willard Thanksgiving reunion with the boys. There were over 130 people there this year. Thursday morning we headed to the church to eat breakfast and play basketball. I just keep on realizing that there are few times I'm happier than when I'm holding a basketball. Thanksgiving dinner was great as usual. The boys really didn't eat anything, they missed out of course! Friday we headed to the park for some fun. I really liked throwing the football around with Landon. I guess I just love sports and I don't get to play them that often. Marcelus fell in love with a rocket machine they had set up. It blew those rockets pretty high up. He was in heaven with that. It's just the kind of kid he is. Phoenix walked around and tried to find loose balls. Like mother like son. Friday night's Cannelloni dinner was just as good as Thanksgiving dinner! Friday night was silly song night and my family got a lot of compliments on ours. We re-wrote the words to Earth Wind & Fire's September and made up choreography. It was fun learning it but I had laryngitis all week and wasn't 100%. Apparently I wasn't "cheesy" enough according to my family but I was just trying to remember the dancing. Probably true though, it had a very Brady Bunch Hustle feel to it...you can't get cheesier than that! It was a great trip and we are now gearing up for Christmas festivities like everyone else!
