Christmas Festivities 2009

Saturday was a fun day. We set up our tree. The boys have been really good at not touching it. Marce is great and Phoenix follows his lead. I even put the presents under there and they are safe and sound. Marcelus is so excited for Christmas and keeps talking about Santa. He keeps wondering when it will be Christmas day. He knows we get to open the presents on Christmas day and Santa will come. He's excited to see him. He told me today that Santa was up in the clouds, as if he were close and coming soon. He also asked me if Santa had a car. I told him yes and he said "It's a really fast car!" It's been funny with him lately.

Our tree looks great! I love it. I love the huge flowers and all the ornaments accented with a few balls here and there. Marcelus LOVES the tree and begged all day to put up the big tree.

Later that day we went to see the Mesa Temple lights. The lights were EVERYWHERE! It is definitely a kid pleaser. Marce LOVED it! Phoenix woke up about half way through and loved it too. When we got home Sharrid made s'mores for everyone. They weren't as good as I'm used to but for mine you need a real fire, so they were okay. The boys loved them and that's what mattered.

They had really neat nativity's set up
