I bought a couple songs yesterday and wanted to share. I pretty much can't shut up about music. I always have to talk about it. I always have to tell everybody what I'm listening to. So, check this stuff out. I love it.

"Easy" Lionel Richie - I just found out that this was Lionel. I can't believe I couldn't tell but it had been a while since I'd heard it. I have always loved this song and now just found out it was Lionel. I bought it right away. I love how the rhythms rush into the 4 1/2. I love that. I love rhythms that play around the one, even stretching to the 2. The baseline is sweet too. It's an older song but pretty and classic, check it out.

"Crossfire" Brandon Flowers - Anything the Killers or anyone in that band releases needs attention. This is a great song. I'm not sure if he's going solo with it or whatever but check this song out if you haven't already.

"Misery" Maroon 5 - Maroon 5 is probably my favorite current/newer band. Them, Muse and Killers are all up there in the top 3 probably. I LOVE Maroon 5 and ever since I first heard "This Love" in my Jazz class back in '04 of my college days, I found out right away who they were and bought their first album. I think Maroon 5 is very close to the style that I write. I love the musicality of them, their instrumentation. It's very quality. I have been waiting patiently for their next album to come out! I am so excited for this new single, it is AWESOME! Maroon 5 pretty much reads my mind. They think, what song would make Lexie very very happy, and then they drop an album and it is so me, they are so my style! This song is awesome and too short really.

"Only Love" & "Fooling Myself" Grace Potter & the Nocturnals - I don't know how I came across these but I love these. The second one is really pretty and something I wish I'd written.

"Never Say Never" Justin Bieber - I don't own any other Bieber songs but I like this one and I think it's cute how Jaden Smith raps in it. This is actually a good song. Some of his others are just crappy writing and stuff.
