I can't believe it's been a whole year since Michael passed away. It seems like yesterday to me and I feel like I'm just getting to the point where I can celebrate it more than sadden over it. At the end of the day, I'm happy about things because I learned so much from this man. No one has influenced me more and I'm very grateful.
There are many teachers in our lives, and I know that music has always been very important to me but like my high school band teacher taught me more about life than music, Michael definitely taught me more about life than anything else. I studied him for years because he taught me good things. Aside from the art he taught me about Christ and spirituality. He would often quote and tell stories from the Bible and liken them to our day. He taught me about right and wrong and honesty and ethics and humanity and kindness and charity and sincerity and every good characteristic I can think of.
Here are some happy clips. I have a large collection of footage and since I prefer it to pictures or anything else, I'm glad I can find what I have in my collection, on you tube where I can post it on my blog. So, this is for me and you and Michael...on the one year anniversary.
