Marcelus' Words

For book it sounds like he says buck. He loves to get Shar's books off his nightstand and pretend to read them.

He says sorry all the time, even if you should be the one saying it, like if you accidentally trip on him or bump him, he will be the one to say sorry, but it's cute cause it comes out "soggy".

Marcelus will ask me sometimes when we're reading or other times "what's that?" even when he knows, because I've asked him so many times, like when you read books with your kids and they point and name everything.

Marcelus asks for movies really well, it kind of sounds like mommy, but then when I ask "what movie do you want to watch?" he has no clue what I asked, he just says "yes" so I have to pull one down and ask "this one?" til we come to the one he wants. I do pretty good at reading his mind though.
He will also be this way with food, he will ask to eat, then I'll ask him what he wants to eat and he just says "yes" so I have to go in and open the cupboard or fridge and ask about things specifically...it can be a little taxing.

Marcelus has been calling me honey lately, because I call him that sometimes...

He continues to call Sharrid by his name...

Marcelus calls diapers "boppers". It's so cute, whenever we change him or he sees them, he usually says this.

Marcelus will say words, like when he says what things are out of a book, or like diapers, until you say it too. So if you never acknowledge that Marcelus has found the picture of the grapes in the book for example, he will say "grapes" and keep pointing to the grapes until he's blue in the face...but I usually make sure I say "yep, it's grapes" before it gets to that point.
