Long Story Short...

I have a small shoe collection for a girl. I have ONE pair of closed toe (actually they have a peek a boo toe that's really small) but they pretty much look like closed toe pumps. The others I have are more strappy/sandal-y heels. I am need of some pretty plain black pumps that are closed toe so I can wear tights and stuff with them. The ONE pair I do have I bought but was in between sizes. They are slightly small and kill me! I can't wear them anymore or my feet are seriously going to be jacked so...the question is...

WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR HEELS?

I look at Ross first but they are slim pickins'. Name another store that you can bet has a bit of selection, that will have some nice comfortable shoes that won't bust the bank. Comment please. I haven't bought heels enough to know where the hot spots are. I only have like 4 pair of heels. Whether they're round toe, regular, or witchy/pointy...it doesn't really matter. I just need some killer black pumps...and I like them pretty high. Keep all this in mind and comment a good suggestion please. Thanks.

I don't wear heels anymore. Although, I'm still determined to find a nice pair of knee high boots with a heel to wear during winter months.

I find all of my nicer shoes at a little no name place right down the road. Sorry that doesn't help you out very much.

DSW, Payless (sometimes), Rackroom.

I'm sorry you've had such bad luck with Ross, but almost all of my favorite killer heels are from there! You have to just keep looking. I only wear quality heels because the cheap brands hurt and imo look weird. You might want to try Nordstrom Rack. They have a HUGE selection and good brands. Dillards and Nordstrom have great shoes too, but are kinda pricey...

Don't get me wrong, I find a pair of heels at Ross almost every time I look, but in this case I need to go to a store knowing I will find exactly what I'm looking for, so I need some more selection this time then Ross. That's all. If I specifically need a certain type of shoe, I probably wouldn't look at Ross. Your chances of finding that shoe are slim.

I get my shoes at Ross, Norsdtrom Rack and Charlotte Russe(I got some great black suede pumps here not too long ago).

Ross, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, or ghetto stores in the mall.
