12 Week Ultrasound

Today I am 12 weeks and a day and I had an Ultrasound to check on the bleeds that I had. They cleared up on their own and we saw a healthy baby instead. The baby was jumpy and moving quite a bit. The baby had the big umbilical cord slung over one shoulder. The heart rate was 153 from 149 last time and the tech said that it will fluctuate all throughout the pregnancy. We were able to hear it this time. I am now on the appointment every 4 weeks schedule which I hate but that just means that I have survived the first trimester and we're about to go on autopilot. My next appointment isn't until November 18th, just a week or two before I can have the big Ultrasound!

Neat pictures! We can't wait to hear what you are having. Another little missionary or your first little princess. Of course your princess will play basketball. She can't be too girly. ;-)

Thanks guys, you know me well Kim ha ha She will NOT be a princess. At least I hope she doesn't think she is. I don't mind if she's girly but I don't want her having a Princess complexion ha ha. Another boy will make me feel a bit overwhelmed. Boys are rowdy together! ha ha We're just happy the baby is healthy and we are passed the miscarriage scare time.

I'm so excited for you Lexie. Especially with Karena being right there with you! How fun being prego together.

I'm still amazed at the whole concept of creating and bringing life into this world. Seing those ultrasound pictures reminds me of the first time I saw Britnee and her little heart beat. Then seeing her bounce a little bit in the second ultrasound I had. I can't even explain the pure joy an awe struck feelings that those two moments brought. I think it's one of the most amazing gifts that our Heaven;y Father has given to his children. Boy or girl, you are so lucky to be experiencing this process again. I hope you evenjoy every moment of it. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
