If you have been keeping up with my blog, you know that Marce is obsessed with my vacuum, actually all vacuums and vacuuming in general. We had a bad situation in Walmart just the other day when we walked past the "V-word" isle. It was crazy...anyway, Kira who has been living with us has been having Marcelus help her with her laundry. I didn't know this until a few weeks ago. So now, Marcelus wants to help with any laundry which is great. So, along with vacuuming, he does laundry too! I am carefully taking pictures of all of this so that when he's 12 or better yet 16, I can show him who he really is deep inside...a hard worker!! He would also love to help me unload the dishwasher, but that's one that I hate! I'll have him do that someday when he can actually put the dishes away!
You know once in a while I like to watch a TV show, like Jeopardy! or watch a Netflix movie or a movie of my own. Just once in a while though, and I've just noticed that Marcelus is such a TV hog. I'm not saying he watches too much TV, but movies and stuff like that, there's always something on as he goes here and there. I don't mind that there's always a movie on, because let's be honest he has no one but me (how fun) to play with, and I can't take him anywhere. If I could I'd take him out for ice cream, or to the park, or for lunch, or something. But, I can't, so we are stuck here at home all day, and right now all week haha. The point is I do kind of get irritated if there's something I really want to watch, like a ball game or something. I was thinking of buying a small TV with a built in VDV/VCR in it for Marcelus' room or mine, and then he could watch something and I could watch something if I wanted, but Shar said to me, "yeah that's a good idea, but why don't you just put it on in our room on the computer?" Duh! We have a pretty decent computer, it never occured to me that I can watch a movie on it, so now when I want to watch something on TV I make Marce watch his movie on my computer, how nice, everyone's happy. I put a pillow on the chair to raise him up a bit, get him a snack and a drink and were good to go...YAY!

Haha what a funny kid. He is definitely unique! Such a good helper! Wish mine were better. Jonah will help with laundry, but I don't have him help every time.That picture of him watching the computer looks like he's naked on the bottom half! Hahaha
Lexie, I couldn't agree more with your comments on the tv thing. Lucy's pretty good about playing on her own when the tv is off. But if I turn it on at all to watch something that I want to watch...she seems to want Elmo instead. I guess the selflessness of a mom continues...
btw, congrats on another little baby! I had no idea you were pregnant. That's exciting.
