The Big Ultrasound

It's a boy! She told us pretty much right away, and then went on to get some great shots of him, as she told us everything was right and healthy. She told me that I was a week and a half ahead of what my due date said but then said Ultrasounds can be that way and that I might just have a good sized kid in there, great! I get the feeling he is big because I made a comment about his "little legs" and she quickly corrected me saying that his legs were actually big legs and had a good amount of fat on them already! She said that he was really photogenic, which I thought was funny because I didn't drink any of the water I was supposed to (weak bladder). Try and see these pictures the best you can, they are the best I can do...Phoenix Bitner Hill will be his name and I am still due on June 2nd, but now I have reason to hope he will come in May. Phoenix was trying to suck his hand/thumb the whole time. Some of these pictures look like he has a hair line. I don't know if that is what it is but it might not be.

After finding that the baby was a boy, at least we did, but you start to be in the mind set and forget all about a girl pretty much. We didn't dwell much on the fact that we are not having a girl and started talking about "the boys" and calling Phoenix by name instead of "it". It was fun to think that I can load all Marcelus old clothes into Phoenix' dresser and reuse them so soon. It was also kind of a "that's nice" to think that I didn't need to buy any clothes unless I wanted to. I'm so happy to know I'll at least have more than just one boy. I'm still positive I'll have a girl at some point. Knowing me, I'll keep trying for her.
By the way, I have updated my profile a bit if you want to read it...

Congratulations Lexie!!! That is so exciting to have another boy. They will be such great friends I am sure.
Such fun pictures too.

I saw here that you know Hilary too. She is a doll. She was in our ward in Gilbert for a while too. She is a fun girl.
