Marcelus & Me

Here we are starting the second week without Phoenix being here. He'll be back on Friday! I am glad I have one more week before the bomb drops. The first week went by really fast. I thought it would drag (not having much to do and all) but because I wasn't saying at the end of the day "I am so glad this day is over" or "I am so worn out" or "I just can't wait til the kids go down" or "I am so done today" ect. it actually went by fast. Things were just really smooth and easy. I kept up on my chores, ran a couple errands, and watched a few Netflix. I also am finishing the book that was laying dormant next to my bed.

Marcelus started on his Hogwarts Express right after Grandma and Phoenix left. He spent a few days getting that done and then played with it the rest of the week. The train is great of course! It's sturdy enough for him to race around the carpet and stuff. He loves it! Here he is with all of his Harry Potter Legos.

The minifigures. He still doesn't have Hagrid, Lucius Malfoy, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, ect But he has quite a few of them including 2 Harry's (one in a school uniform and one in street clothes), and owls and pets, like Hedwig, Mrs. Norris, Scabbers, and Crookshanks... Harry, Draco, Ron, Luna, Ginny. Marce got some new Easy Bake Oven mixes for his birthday from Tibi! He was excited to do the Pretzels, so in between Sunday dinner and making bread (Phew!) I helped Marce make them. Baking with the Easy Bake Oven is harder and messier than baking for real! Here's to another great week of Reading, Netflix, Resting, and spending time with Marcelus. Three more weeks til the move! I'm excited. I love to clean out, de-junk, reorganize, and rearrange. If anybody has any moving boxes they are done with or don't need, you know where you can drop them off!
