Marcelus had a wellness check up today for being 4. He is holding steady at 75% for height, and 20% for weight. We are happy enough about his weight because he has been as low as 4% in the past. His vision was checked and I was so happy that he is 20/20. When you yourself have such a vision problem, it is almost a miracle when you see your own child reading the little shapes on the chart from so far away! I'm so glad my problem is not hereditary. Poor Marce had to get 4 shots in the arms. Needless to say he is feverish and tired and watching a movie curled up with his blanket. The good news is he is done with shots until he's eleven except for winter flu shots of course.
Phoenix will go to the doctor in May for his 2 year wellness check up and we can't wait to see his height percentile, he was 99% at 18 months and 97% at 12 months and 15 months, so he could be off the chart tall! He's growing like a weed and seems older to me than he is because he's so tall. It's fun to have tall kids!

It will be fun to find out when Phoenix will finally pass up Marcelus in heighth. I'm sure it will happen, but I wonder what age they will be...
I don't know if he will. Marce is tall for his age in his own right. He towers over everybody in Primary and he's taller than his cousins and friends his age so Phoenix might not ever catch him. It'd be fun if they were similar at the end of growth, so they could compete and challenge each other on the basketball court...
