Funnies In Our Home

Marcelus says funny stuff all the time. He gives us a good laugh every once in a while. Shar and I will just look at each other after he says one of these funnies and just laugh, cause we know we both thought it was funny.

Marcelus asked for a movie we have called Hero Of The Rails. After watching it for the upteenth time, I starting suggesting other movies that don't get watched as often...Marcelus told me very matter of factly "We watch Thomas the Rails forever."

My kids love fruit! I usually always have bananas and apples, and oranges and grapes when they look good. Marcelus asked for an apple and Shar gave him one. Then I asked Shar if he was going to peel it for Marce. He said no. I said Marce only likes them peeled with no skin. (like mother, like son) Sure enough at that moment Marcelus was back and asked "Dad, can you get all the crusties off?"

Phoenix' hair is slowly growing back and he has quite the attitude. He WILL be 2 in May. He is pretty big and plays well with Marce. I'm so glad I had two boys like this. Phoenix is saying new words everyday! He loves Thomas just like his big brother and calls it "James!" whenever he sees anything Thomas. Actually he likes a lot of things his brother likes, but I also see the little differences between the boys.

Marcelus ' birthday is tomorrow. He is 4 now and had a Thomas birthday party on Saturday. It was a lot of fun for Marce. I'll post about it soon.

Happy Valentines Day to everyone. With all the preperation for Marcelus' party, I kind of took a back seat approach to the Holiday. I know it will be a bigger deal for our family in the future and especially when the kids are in school. Sharrid managed to get me a couple bags of candy and my favorite conversational hearts. They have changed much to my dismay! They now have blue hearts and have gotten rid of the whites...my favorite! They tasted like Pepto Bismal and I know that most people don't like that but I picked them out of the bunch and asked everyone "Are you going to eat your whites?" Now I will have to resort to these...

They are usually just found in a cheap store brand bag in the candy isle and they are called Wintergreen Mints or Wintergreen Lozenges. They taste just like those white conversation hearts THEY NO LONGER HAVE! Try them!
