The PHX Zoo

Today we had the opportunity of going to the Phoenix Zoo with a group of people for a deal of 4 bucks a person, and Phoenix was free. So for $8.00, the boys and I went to the Zoo with my friend April and her boy, Wade. The boys are both fighting sickness right now, but they had a great time. Phoenix was so good and just loved to stroll through nature. He's always so clingy at home. I have come to realize that when I take the boys outside or when we do things like this, they are always better behaved during and after that time. I wish I could do more things like this with the boys, but when the chance comes, I always jump at it. Marcelus and Wade rode in my red wagon and I strolled Phoenix around. Marce doesn't show a whole lot of excitement, but I know he had a good time. The last thing we did was take them on the Carousel. Marce wanted to ride on the Cheetah, but settled for the Jaguar so I could stand by both Wade and Marce. The only upset that happened all day was the elephants weren't out to view and Marce got bit (we think) by a kid in the play area. I could tell he was really hurt. He cried and had me hold him for a long time, poor guy. It was a great environment being on the Zoo trails and walking, getting some movement and exercise. Here are the shots I got from the day.
