Sharrid was destined to be a member of this true church. He had a rough go I'd say until he joined as a freshman in College. I'm surprised he turned out so great when I hear stories from his past. He was ready to find the Gospel. This picture here is the only young picture of Sharrid we have, and you can see it's been cut and taped back. Since it's the only one , I really treasure it...It is a junior high school picture.

This is what I looked like at the time Sharrid was baptized. 8th grade, 14 years old. Just thought it'd be fun to post a pic of me at this time. Just a year later from this time I would enter High School and Sharrid would enter the MTC...

3rd Wedding Anniversary

Sharrid and I met in early Dec. of 04, engaged by New Year, and Married in the San Diego Temple on Feb. 5th 05. 3 months later we were pregnant with our first son, and it has been getting better and better ever since. We love to make progress together, struggle together, laugh together, stress together. We do everything together it seems. We've seen the Lord bless and guide us in moves and jobs and such. We've been blessed with a healthy great looking kid and another is on the way. I can't believe that such a beautiful kid came from us. He must have grabbed the best from both of us, and left the rest. We're excited to grow our family and provide a great life for them, with wonderful memories.

A big I love you to Sharrid, he is the hardest working man I know, along with my own dad. He is a great provider. He is not afraid to work hard. This is one thing I value most in him.

Sharrid is such a spiritual giant. He is praying constantly no matter how tired he is, and he loves to read his scriptures. He's always nudging me to stop talking to him during a church lesson, and he LOVES to attend the Temple. I feel like I'm dragging behind him, trying to keep up. He's so awesome!

Sharrid treats me like a Queen and ALWAYS gets me a drink when I ask, even if were both sitting down, and there's no reason I can't get my own. He gives me massages ANYTIME I want, even if it's late and he's tired. He does my dishes more than I do...These are the things I love about him a lot.

6 Year Torch Anniversary

6 years ago my band teacher Mrs. Delgadillo who is awesome and one of my favorite people in this life altogether, nominated me to run the 2002 Torch for the Winter games in Salt Lake. n Feb. 4th I celebrated 6 years. I was a senior when I ran it and it was definately a big high light of my senior year. I ran the torch in Monument Valley UT.

The Indians on the res were Navajo and these HS girls were very quiet and nice

They treated us like celebrities for some reason. Maybe nothing like this had ever happened on the res...there were Indians everywhere, and they ALL wanted an autograph, it was fun to sign away.

Update on Crappy Day

Quick update, but first I am sorely dissapointed at the news I have heard of Shaq being traded for Marion and Banks! He is not even in shape right now cause he's injured but apparently he's excited to play for PHX and who wouldn't be? Were the best team in the West, which means were the best team in the NBA. Why wouldn't he want to lose the Heat, they suck when really they should at least dominate the East, but they don't, of course I'd want to be traded also, but I am sad to lose Shawn Marion. He adds so much to this team, and I have never been thrilled about Shaq...bummer

Ok next, I tried everything on the couch and no takers. It has faded a bit after using Clorox wipes but it is still there. I'm hoping it fades in time as one person online said it can keep fading into the leather til you can barely see it, that's what I'm hoping for because nothing worked.

Next, I called the trash co. they gave me the number that is on my trash can and said we can look around the neighborhood for it...and if we can't find it we can pay 75 bucks for a new one...I'm pissed. We are going to look around on Mon, when all the trash cans are out on the road, but after that who knows.

To mtop the bad day off, Marce cracked his Monsters Inc. DVD and it was one of his favorites, so now I'll be needing to replace that sometime...wonderful huh?

Well I guess that's it for now still hoping to blog a couple things very soon.

Crappy Day

Today I needed to do pretty much every chore there is, and I decided that I was just going to go until I couldn't go any more. I still have chores to do and the day is not over yet so we'll see what happens, but I decided to start with the bathrooms as they would be one of the hardest. At some point, while on hands and knees scrubbing floors and tubs, Marcelus got a pen and drew all over my light colored leather couch. I have gotten pen out of it numerous times before by just licking my finger and rubbing the spot (I know it sounds gross) but I swear I can get anything out of my couches like that,...well, this time nothing I tried would work. It faded a little bit but it is still there for sure. I don't know what to do. Marcelus has been horrible for me the entire day. Earlier he took his diaper off and got really physical with me when I tried to put a new one on. He has been tired all day and in my way while trying to clean, I was constantly saying"move" today. He has not minded at all today. This morning (my fault but still) I stripped him to get in the shower and I had to run to the other bathroom to get his soaps. I ran back and found that he was standing in a puddle of his own pee. So, I had to clean that up. Too many tantrums today and all because he woke up too early or something. He has finally copped out now at 4:30. I hate his late naps, he is trying to get over naps but really just isn't yet.
I tried to do chores and be a good wife and mom and really clean this house and all that I got back was a crappy day, a bunch of pen mark on my couch that still is there (any suggestions are welcome although I will have already prob. tried half) and yeah...oh yeah I forgot, I took out 2 bags of trash today only to find that our outdoor trash can has dissapeared. It is straight up gone as if it's been stolen...I'm going to be mad if I have to pay for another trash can and go through the hassle of having it delivered and all, who wants to buy a new trash can?
I am so ready for Shar to be home but won't see him until after 7. I think I'll need a little TLC by the time he gets home. I'm tired of doing chores but I am so not done.
Why couldn't Marce color all over something we didn't care to keep nice...we like our couches and they are one of those things that we wanted to have around a long time you know,...I would just flip the cushions but I can't, they aren't like that. The thing that is most irritating is that I've gotten pen out of them before, smaller lines and marks but still, came right off. What's so special about this particular pen...?

I have to say that I was going to post pictures from running the torch in 2002 Salt Lake games, because Mon. was my 6 year anniversary, but I cannot figure out how to use my scanner and Shar dinked around with it too. Annoying...so I still will try to do that post but it will be delayed. Also today is our 3rd wedding anniversary, and I was going to post a bit on that but the way my day is going, it will also be another time so at least you can look forward to those but they won't be great as my scanner won't be involved. Good thing we celebrated our anniversary last Friday night cause this is just a down right bad day...

Five things you were doing ten years ago 1998 - Pretty much trying not to be a loser. I was in 8th-9th grade. But, I was playing Basketball. That was probably the biggest thing for me at that time. Probably having a lot of fun with my best friend Julie Terry, still one of my best friends.

Five things you were doing five years ago 2003. I was working lame jobs just making money. I was living at home I think getting ready to start school. I was dancing a lot for fun, and starting to write songs and poetry.

Five things you were doing one year ago 2007. Actually right around this time, I bought my iPod, one of the best purchases I've ever made. Also this time last year, I was able to cut my debt significantly. Marce was 12 months old and walking good now, We were trying to prepare to move out of the apt. life, rent or buy, and fortunately were able to buy last May.

Five favorite memories: Too hard, but, High School, growing up with my family, Delivering Marcelus, Me and Shar's first date, Running the Torch, Playing Basketball in school, and definately one of THE best was performing with our family band for our family reunions, esp. the Big Packard reunion where there were like a 800 people there!!
