These are pictures from the first part of our trip, California City. Cal City is a rinky dinky town in Death Valley. We make our way out there whenever we go to CA because Shar's grandpa James lives out there. He's about 85 years old and lives in a little apartment, so we never stay long. It is nice that it's so close to my grandparent's house though. We arrived Saturday, visited grandpa, stayed in our hotel that night, went to church there on Sunday, visited a little while longer, and then took off to our next stop of the trip, Anaheim. I'm sorry to see that I am in none of these pictures! Oh and by the way, my video camera broke right before this trip, and my still shot camera's battery has serious issues and needs replacing so on this trip, I had to rely on my iPad alone...
