Out Of The Loop...

...And I pretty much don't give a crap but can someone please explain what a giveaway is? And Twitter or tweets, and all those dumb names they say for it? Twittering...hmm, I'm pretty sure I don't care but leave a comment anyway if you know what the heck it is.

A giveaway is where a blog author has people leave comments and then randomly chooses someone to win a prize. A lot of blog authors have giveaways to boost the number of people who read their blog.

I know almost nothing about Twitter, except that it's kind of like a cross between blogging and facebook, where you send out short little messages (tweets) about what you're up to. Sounds annoying to me...
"I'm eating dinner."
"I'm at the grocery store."

Really, does anyone care? haha.

I have heard twittering is like text messaging on the computer, but isn't that what instant messenger is? I'm oh so confused about what it really is...
