Today I was packing for a trip the boys and I are going on and Marcelus was helping me unwrap a game of Backyardigans Memory I got for the little grand kids to play. I told Marcelus that maybe grandma would play it with him when she got here (she's picking us up). He then said "Marcelus loves grandma...I love her." It was so cute. Again during packing, Marce asked me what I was doing. I told him I was packing because we were going to grandma's house. He was confused because grandma is actually picking us up and then we are going back to her house with her. So I've been telling Marce the last few days that grandma is coming here to see him. He was confused when I told him we were going there. I explained to him "Grandma is coming to get us and pick us up and then we are going with her to her house. Then we can go to the Fair." He then said "Oh I see...I see." This was hilarious and made me laugh. He said it so grown up and it's so funny to have a 3 year old now who I have normal conversations with. He understands a lot more. I do get annoyed at the age a bit because at 3 he all the sudden says "Mommy?" way too much and I hate this one ten thousand times a day..."Mommy, where are you?" a very tired, annoyed sounding "I'm right here." comes back to him every time. Why is it that he needs to know exactly where I am at all times?

I totally understand the "Mommy" word. Bennett doesn't ask where I am, but he's constantly saying "Mommy?" I reply(annoyed), "What, sweetie?" Then he tries to think of something to say because he didn't REALLY want to ask me anything. He just wanted to get my attention. Can I pull my hair out yet?
Mom's got it all wrong- Phoenix is not going to be a chink for much longer. He is thinning out a lot! I think he's going to start looking like Marce soon (his body).
I wish I had a dollar for everytime my kids say, "mom!" I'd be a millionaire...
It sounds like Marce is getting so big! I love it when they start to talk.
Um, I obviously meant CHUNK.
