So in a nutshell, our computer kind of crashed and it's at Data Doctors right now. It should be done soon and we should be back online including this blog. I have at least 4 things to post already but I can't do it on here (Sharrid's new laptop) because of saving pictures and all that stuff. Just wanted to let you know what happened and I will try and blog before I leave for my trip in about 5 days! First I got to get my computer back!
Sharrid could not afford to get behind in school, especially with our trip coming up so he bought a laptop with school money a few days ago. He had been planning on getting one anyway so that I could be on the family computer when I needed and so he could do his work mobile and take it on trips and stuff.
We are heading to CA to visit Grandpa James and then to Logandale for the Fair. I'll be gone an extra week with the kids for my first fundraiser in the valley, should be a great family reunion!
I have discovered that there is an ice and water place right by my apartment that has Thrifty's Ice Cream in it! I LOVE Thrifty's ice cream. My Aunt Lisa used to take me there all the time and it really is good ice cream so I have been taking the boys for a cone every once in a while.
I still have not seen New Moon! I bought it the day it came out but with biggest Loser, Project Runway, and Phx Suns games, there is pretty much something to watch every night! I have still not found the time because I refuse to watch a new movie with kids around and I don't like to stay up past eleven or so. Just waiting for the right time I guess...
I am reading a book called The Wednesday Letters. It's okay. The writing is a bit cheesy, especially the dialogue but I'm almost done with it. I will then read The Goose Girl, a book I borrowed from my sister. I am really interested in reading a book called The Help. I have seen it everywhere. If you know anything about it (NO SPOILERS) let me know, like if it's good and stuff...I broke down and bought The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. I have not read them but I don't think I'll regret buying them. They are after Goose Girl. Back to reading after a break! I'm also back to working out...just in time to go on a road trip...we'll see what happens.
We had Easter a week early because of our trip so the boys have no clue who the Easter Bunny is and I really didn't say anything about it. As far as they're concerned the baskets they got were from us. I'm okay with that. Heck, my kids don't even know what Easter is but they sure loved their baskets anyway! They both had blue baskets with green grass (a MUST) They each got a small book, Dora and that new Kalian Chinese girl show, they each got a DVD in their basket, Diego and Max & Ruby. They each got a train, James and Peter Sam, and they each got a collection of the Cars matchbox cars, meaning Lightning McQueen and crew. They have been wanting those. The only candy they got was peeps. My kids get enough candy by trying to steal mine so that's the last thing we're going to do for Easter. We do small gifts and maybe we'll do candy when they get older. Anyway that was their Easter. I spaced even taking pictures! We have an Easter Egg decorating kit still to do so Marce is looking forward to that!

Additions to Lexie's ONH Journey Blog
I just wanted to let everyone know that there has been additions added to my ONH Blog. There is now an "upcoming events" section on my side bar with fundraiser and event information. There is also a link to the Moapa Valley Progress Newspaper article that was published this last week in my home town Logandale NV.

Thomas Versus Chuggington
I'll admit, my kids watch morning cartoons. They aren't like the cartoons I used to watch as a kid but still. They like to watch pretty much anything and everything that comes on PBS, Playhouse Disney, or Nick jr. . They like some better than others for sure. PBS seems to lose almost every morning while they try to decide on Disney or Nick. They like Diego, Max & Ruby, Chuggington, Backyardigans, and Mickey.
Later in the day my kids watch a movie....usually the same ones over and over. We have a great collection of kids movies thanks to me buying one every time I go grocery shopping (It's in the budget) Why do the kids pick the same movies over and over and leave some. If my kids watch a movie we have, it's usually always Backyardigans or Thomas.
We've recently discovered Disney's version of a train show called Chuggington. Marce loves it! Marce will watch any show if it has a train it, which is why he likes Diego (he rides on a train sometimes). It's all about the trains for Marce. If my boys want to like Thomas that's great, but it's not my favorite. One thing is that all the trains look creepy because their faces don't move. It's like they all have Botox or something. Poor production you know, like how cheap can you be...you can't even make their faces move?
They now have released a movie (and maybe more?) that have this version of Thomas. It's totally all computerized but at least they have real faces. Marce loves the new version but we only have one of these DVDs. If you know any titles of others, please comment below.
This is Disney's Chuggington. I have never seen a DVD in the stores. We just try and catch it on TV. Sharrid is totally loyal to Thomas. It's true Disney just kind of jumped on the train band wagon after Thomas has tons of success with a new generation but I take no side. Shar says Chuggington is unrealistic (the trains can jump and stuff) and that it's a total cheap knock off. It's pretty funny. I don't care at all....and neither do the boys, they love it all. Trains trains trains!

Ladies...
I need a good recommendation for Mascara. I'm going to be using Revitalash, but I need a good mascara in my collection too. I don't want waterproof and of course it needs to not clump a lot. Other than that, I'd love to hear what you like and use, and why you like it. Everybody leave a comment please! If you have to buy it at a certain store, leave it in your comment please. Thanks guys!

Dying
We went to DI on Saturday. On our way Marce asked where we were going. We told him we were going to DI. He whined "I don't want to go die!". It was pretty funny. He was right though, he had a complete meltdown when we were there. I managed to find a few things including a sweater from Charlotte Russe with the tags still on.
Family Update & Kids
I know I haven't been blogging very much. I even looked at my archive to find that I blogged less than half as much my 2nd year compared to my 1st year...don't worry, I blog when there's something to blog.
The latest on our family is that we were looking to move at the end of March because our lease on our apt. was ending, but when they only raised it $50 a month and gave us a free month for renewing, we knew it was best to stay put. I'm happy at the price, even raised, it's a steal of a deal especially for this location. It has really helped us financially to have our living cost way down then what it was in years past. In this economy even, we are doing pretty good and still are grateful to have our job.
Meanwhile, Shar continues to plug away at school. He will have his associates faster than I thought and should be done by this coming summer. He then only has a handful of pre requisites. He still plans to apply for the Nursing Program in August I think. He is enjoying a break from school until his next classes start up on March 15th. He deserves it. I can tell it has lifted his spirits to have the break.
This is going to be a great year for our family. Based on decisions we've made and events that will take place, I know it will be great. It always seems that way, that each year proceeds the previous, mainly in financial and educational areas...that's always improving as each year passes for most young marrieds. I'm happy we're starting to really improve our circumstances in those areas. On top of it all, we are on our way to treatment for me, which will make big changes for my little family. I feel like EVERYTHING is progressing and improving, which feels GREAT! That's why I'm so excited to see how this year and even the next few turn out.
Sharrid must of thought I looked hot because he wanted to take some pictures of me last Sunday after church. I never think I look hot because I really don't believe I can look hot without wearing make up...and I can't apply my own make up, so...needless to say, I hardly ever think I look "hot", but that will change soon enough :) And by the way, I am still growing my hair out to perm. I think it will happen by the second coming. I got this shirt at DI for $4...nice. On a side note, my face has been a wreck lately, but it is finally starting to come around. In these pictures, it's still kind of a mess. Conclusion: My facewash is so worth it!
I took this because I love these new shorts I got for Marce. Cute.
And I took this because I got this cute shirt at a free clothing swap. It looks great on Phoenix!
I love when I catch the boys sharing the rocker. They have their own TV chairs but they like to sit in the rocker sometimes, and of course if one gets to sit in the rocker, the other one wants to. Luckily they both fit and don't mind being that close to each other. I think it's adorable.
Of course what's even more adorable is when they fall asleep together at the same time. That's what I call a score for mom!

3 Dudes To Talk About
The trading deadline is today at 1 pm. Amare has been up in the air but it looks like he is staying with Phoenix Suns. The Cavs were interested in him but got someone else. The Heat were interested also but I think the Suns have decided to keep him anyway, so THANK YOU for keeping my favorite player on my team!
I have not watched hardly any Olympics this time around...lame. I probably won't tonight (Project Runway...loving it!) but I did watch this cool guy take the Gold in the snowboard pipe.
Congratulations to Sharrid for finishing 2 classes he's been working on since October towards his associate which he will have by this coming fall! He did great even though he doesn't like the classes to be online. He got an A in Communications 230, and a B in English 102. Good job Sharrid!
